Saturday June 3, 2017 - Jones Plaza
Preparations are on the way for our 2017 Annual Caribbean American
Heritage Month Festival, which celebrates June which is National Caribbean
American Heritage Month.
We are currently looking for volunteers to
help us celebrate at Jones Plaza on Saturday June 3, 2017. Below are the
Festival Committees. Review these committees, decide on a committee, fill
out the application and return to us at:info@caribbeanheritagetx.org.
Committees

Fundraising -
This committee is responsible for seeking Corporate and other
sponsorships for The Festival. This committee is also responsible
for creating fundraising events as well
- Festival - This
committee will coordinate all activities for The Festival and will work
with the chair of all festival committees
- Activities -
This committee will book all performers
and cultural acts for
The Festival and will work with the Stage Manger of the Festival in
getting the acts on stage at their allotted time

Vendor
Relations - This
committee is responsible for booking vendors for the festival; this
committee will oversee the vendor process including assisting the
vendors to secure their health permits
- Security -
This committee will work with the Police officers at The Festival, in
particular around the stage area when the artists and performers are
greeting the general public

Entertainment - This
committee is responsible for booking all other entertainment for The
Festival including booking hosts and MCs
- Volunteers -
This committee will supervise and assign the volunteers their
assignments at The Festival
